  The olive harvest normally takes place between October to mid December. On this holiday you will spend some time with local farmers finding out about the different methods that they use to pick the olives. You will also discover the special olive oil trees, that make city of Reggello the most famous centre of olive oil DOCG production , finally watching the "cold" squeezing of olives in our mill .
  
• The holiday will let you experience the olive oil harvest and teach you about olive oil production - plus you get to taste and cook with the owner - dishes such as local "fagiolo zolfino del Valdarno" or local "Fettunta"- toasted bread , new olive oil and garlic . You stay in a old restored Farmhouse (Agriturismo) overlooking the Valdarno Valley and the Chianti hills. We have also, on request, a chef who teach you the secrets of Tuscan cooking!
